Montalto Dora is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,461 and an area of . ==Main sights== *The castle, known from the mid-12th century but rebuilt in the 18th-20th centuries. It has a massive mastio and a chapel with 15th-century frescoes.
